a little more about me…
To be a designer is to empathize with who we are designing for. This idea was the driving force that has inspired me to pursue UX/UI design. My background in biological sciences along with my current pursuit of a Masters in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience with a concentration in Human Computer Interactions at the University of Texas at Dallas has been imperative in fueling my passion for defining what motivates an individual. I am most interested in User Research and am currently looking for summer 2025 internships that allow me to explore this avenue.
I believe we are life long learners and User Experience is constantly ebbing and flowing in new directions, allowing me to grow and move with it. Previously working in non-profit and being involved in health crisis-intervention, I am passionate about advocating for real people and making impactful, rewarding differences. I will continue striving for the implementation of accessible design in my community.
In my free time, you can find me lifting weights, reading multiple books at once, hanging out at my favorite local coffee shops, exploring nature, journaling, practicing meditation, or playing with my cat, Lush :)
